We are thrilled to announce a significant milestone in our company’s journey: the successful migration to Amazon Web Services (AWS). This transition marks a new chapter in our commitment to innovation, reliability, and excellence.
For nearly three decades, our self-hosted infrastructure has been the backbone of PageDNA. But as the digital landscape evolves, so does our need for more scalable, flexible, and robust infrastructure. After thorough consideration and planning, AWS was the clear choice to take us into the future.
Our team worked tirelessly to ensure the migration to AWS was seamless, and I am proud to report that it was a huge success. We achieved a smooth transition with minimal disruptions, allowing us to maintain your operations without missing a beat.
A significant highlight of this migration is our ability to remain highly available during the most challenging times. And we’ve already seen this at work. During the July 2024 unprecedented IT outage, which took down servers across the globe, PageDNA’s systems stood resilient.
Below are just a few more examples of how this migration is already making an impact:
- Almost all pages are loading an average of 30% faster
- Objectively higher uptime
Of course, the journey doesn’t end here. We will continue fine-tuning performance and optimizing operations to ensure we leverage AWS to its fullest potential. We are noticing – as you may have as well – that a couple functions got slower – namely, previews, the shipping page, and the review page. As a result we are investigating steps to ensure these pages also see performance improvements.
